With the success of our pet CBD defense, we decided to formulate a CBD-infused mosquito and tick repellent for humans. It offers an all-natural, DEET-free alternative to repel those nasty summer bugs. We combine hemp-derived CBD, essential oils and natural carrier oils to deter mosquitos and ticks while hydrating the skin, plus all the benefits of 1000mg of CBD.

Ingredients:

Coconut oil

specific fatty acids found in coconut oil (lauric, capric, and caprylic acids) are highly effective against ticks and mosquitoes. Research shows that specially formulated, concentrated coconut oil compounds can actually repel blood-sucking insects better than DEET.

EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

Because of its high-fat content it will suffocate ticks. It contains phytonutrients, vitamin E, and omega-3 fatty acids that help keep your skin moisturized and well-nourished.

Hemp seed Oil

effective against ticks, mosquitos and more than 20 other insects. Hemp seed oil on your skin also helps prevent nasty and uncomfortable skin conditions including eczema. Not only that, but it also moisturizes the skin.

NEEM OIL

When mixed at a 20% concentration in a carrier oil, it provides up to 3 hours of protection against mosquitoes. It is also effective at killing tick larvae on contact and repelling adult ticks.

1000mg Full Spectrum CBD

Full spectrum CBD is the most complete extraction of the hemp plant, including all of the plant's cannabinoids and terpenes. CBD oil works as a pest defense by killing the adult ticks on your body. It also repels new ticks from attaching to your skin.

CITRONELLA

Citronella is an essential oil obtained from the leaves and stems of different species of Cymbopogon. Citronella is best known as a mosquito deterrent on humans. It works by temporarily masking the human body odors—like carbon dioxide and lactic acid—that attract mosquitoes.

CHAMOMILE

Chamomile contains the natural compound pinene and various volatile oils (like chamazulene) that mosquitoes dislike and avoid. the chamomile flower's earthy scent is just what ticks run from. Chamomile has also been shown to be effective in repelling other different species of harmful parasites.

LEMONGRASS

Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) is a tall, perennial grass in a class of about 45 species of grasses native to the tropical and sub-tropical climates of Asia, Australia and Africa. A preventative and a treatment, lemongrass kills and repels ticks and mosquitos. It kills the insect life cycle (adult eggs and larvae) by contact and prevents pests from hitching a ride on you.
